With this bag, you will be able to enjoy all kinds of water sports without worrying about your belongings getting wet. Whether it is for boating, kayaking, fishing, paddling, or any other outdoor activity, this bag will exceed all your expectations! It is unusual to find an item with such a high score of 4.9/5 in terms of quality, durability, and reputation, but the Earth Pak did an excellent job! Additionally, it comes in several beautiful bright colors, making it easy to find in the dark, which is a big plus!

How to Use It?

It’s easy! Fill up the bag with your items. Press the top and roll it down about three or four times, then close the bag with the help of the clips. Et Voila, You are done! The closing system of this bag is so smartly designed that even a drop of water won’t be able to penetrate into the bag. Also, there is a detachable shoulder strap that you can easily adjust to your size. You can lengthen or shorten it as you wish. Play around with the strap until you are comfortable wearing it. 1. These bags are so practical. I have two such bags, although not these brands, and use them often. The waterproof construction, along with the simple design and sealing method mean that they aren’t expensive but are excellent for keeping your valuables dry.
I first used them floating down a river in Laos on a tractor tire tube. Cameras and clothes dry and safe.

  2. I am not that familiar with these dry bags so the video was very helpful. Since recently retiring, I have started doing short day hikes. Being in Florida for the last couple of months, I have come to find the weather goes from sunny with blue skies to pouring rain in an instant. I have already been caught in the rain a couple of times. Being I love photography, I usually have some kind of camera equipment with me on the trails. That bag would have come in handy…lol. I wish I knew about this years ago. I used to tour a lot on a motorcycle. I have a trunk on the bike but of course, it’s small and didn’t fit everything. There was always something that I had rolled up strapped to the top. Instead of covering it with black garbage bags to keep it dry if it rained, this bag would have been a perfect solution.

  3. Thanks for the review. Dry bags are definitely very useful, if you sometimes go to places with water. I have owned a couple of different bags myself. It has been very useful, but with the ones I have used, I still had to be a bit careful.

If it was soaked in water, some water would still come in. Not a lot, but if you have a phone there, you do not want any water at all:-) So far I have therefore also had to wrap phone, camera etc, in a plastic bag inside the bag to be sure. What is your experience about Earth Pak in relation to this? Does these bags keep thing 100% dry?

    Thanks,

    Mike

I don’t know which dry bags you have used. There are many different brands on the market. I am glad to know it has been very helpful to you. As I’ve mentioned in the precedent comment, recently, I bought two Earth Pak Dry Bags for my children to go camping and they just love those bags. They are so fantastic that I’ve ordered another one for my husband and I might order one for me as well:) I personally love these bags and yes, they keep all my children’s belongings 100% dry!

  6. My Earthpak bag got punctured on my kayaking trip, so I sent it back to Amazon. It didn’t seem that durable and pretty flimsy. I’ve been researching “tough” dry bags, and I heard about the Laughing Lion dry bag. It claims to be made of a super tough material, but I don’t know.

Have you tried the Laughing Lion brand before?

    • Hi Jameson,

Sorry to hear that your Earthpack has let you down in the middle of your kayaking trip! And to be honest, I am very surprised this happened to you since this dry bag is one of the best rated on the market. I’ve bought several Earth backs for myself and my children, and we are personally very happy with them! I still didn’t try the Lion, though, but I am on my way to do it, and as soon as I get the Lion bag, I’ll write a review about it. Although the Lion seems to be of excellent quality, the Earthbag is far more popular and has a higher customer rating on Amazon. However, the Earthbag is made of 500D PVC fabric, while the Lion is made of Y7 5mm thick 500D Waterproof Polymer. I am not an expert in material composition, but both seems to be of same quality. I don’t see any difference:)

I hope it helped and if you need to know further info, please, feel free to contact me. I am always happy to help!
Thank you very much for sharing your experience with the Earthbag!
      Have a wonderful day:)
