  1. Wow, Tuscany looks absolutely breathtaking! The history that you will be experiencing, not to mention a wine tasting of some great Italian wines in the countryside! Quick question though, do they accept gratuities there? I have always been told that is not something done in Europe. also, how strict is the itinerary? Will we have time to enjoy the different sites or is it rushed? I notice you said some people have said that the groups were too large so that may hinder being able to relax and enjoy the views. Thank you for the help!

    • Hi Travis,

I have been a lot in Europe, and I can tell you that gratuity is very appreciated there:), especially by taxi drivers, hotels, and restaurants.

This tour gives you ample time to visit the sightseeings. Everything is well organized. As for the group, only a few people complained about being too large; but that doesn’t mean they didn’t enjoy, quite the contrarily:) You can check by yourself the reviews on Viator.

I hope it helped. Let me know if you need more info. I’ll be more than happy to assist.

Thank you for the comment, and I wish you a lovely day.

  2. Today I just realise that I am a Pisces and that is what I love sea and water and the zodiac sign is a fish ( that is that part I didn’t know) and I always wondered why I felt attracted to water. Can I get to see the sea more in tuscany as this is my favorite part of travelling? I think I may also enjoy seeing the ancient city of Siena, will make sure I get to go sometime next year if all goes well.

    • Hi Donny,

I don’t think you’ll have the time to go to the sea with this tour. If you are in Tuscany for a few days, then you can enjoy strolling on the shoreline or have a boat while you are there. This tour lasts only 12 hours, so you’ll have plenty of free time to see the sea.

Thank you for the comment, and I wish you to have a fantastic trip next year!

  3. Funny coming across this right now.

A friend I worked with just got back from a tour just like this.

He actually grew up in Rome before he moved here to the US.
He said he never did the tourist thing while living there but went this time with his American wife as a tourist.

It was absolutely amazing he said.

Also, for others who might be thinking about it, he said being Italian and knowing the language helped him but his wife or a non Italian speaking person could navigate easily.
It was very accommodating to tourists.

  4. Hi Daniella

Italy is one of my favourite places to visit, as the scenery is just breathtaking. The food, the people and the weather, make a visit as enjoyable as possible. Most people will say that one day will not be enough but it will be a good taster. I have actually seen the leaning tower of Pisa and it is quite a sight. I am lucky as I have some cousins who live in Livorno, and not too far from Pisa. The only problem with the North of Italy is that the weather can become more climate. I understand that it can have much more rain than South Italy.

Italy must be visited at least once in your life time. All you need to do is loosen your belt. I know for a fact that most Italians do not speak English well, is this a problem on Tuscania.

    Thank you

    Antonio

    • Hi Antonio,

I agree with you on the belt:) The food and wine are delicious in Italy! But the sites are fantastic, too! Yes, the English language is a problem in Italy. I assume it’s the same in Tuscany. In tourist places, people tend to know more English thanks to travellers.

Thank you for passing by and I wish you a great day!

  5. How beautiful is this. I have always wanted to go, esp to the vineyards and the LT pisa. I did not know they had such restrictions on children and the the tower. That is good info to know. What gorgeous sites and this is pictures. I can only imagine what it looks like in person. Is the food expensive there?

    • Hi Lisa,

You can find affordable food in Florence, but if you eat in the tourist area, then it will be more expensive. So if you are on a budget, avoid tourist spots:)

  6. I’ve always wanted to visit the site of the famous physics experiments with gravity. The Leaning Tower of Pisa and it’s amazing history is a treat for anyone who makes the trip and one day it will be me. A definite bucket list item for sure. I’ve been to Nice, France and Monaco but unfortunately the closest I got to Tuscany was Sanremo. Sounds like an amazing tour, what is your absolute favorite part of the tour? Thank you and have a good one!

    • The whole tour is excellent, but the best part is lunch at the farm. The food and wine are delicious, and the owners serve you until you are completely full. This is an excursion not to miss out if you are in Tuscany:)

  7. Hello

That’s a very useful and wonderful topic. I love Italy. I went for a honeymoon with my wife. We visited Venice. We really want to visit another town, like Tuscany. It would be perfect to travel with our 2-year-old infant and especially to have a knowledgeable tour guide and enjoy such an affordable tour.

    Thanks for this excellent proposition.

  8. Wow! I want to go on this tour! Looks wonderful. We are actually planning a trip for April, when my son has his spring break from College. We live on the beach, so he wants to go somewhere interesting and not necessarily somewhere on the water. He is very interested in the history and buildings. So this seems right up our alley. Can you tell me what the weather will be like in April?

    • Hi Matt,

Tuscany is beautiful; I am sure you and your son will love this tour. April is a great time to visit Tuscany as the weather is pleasant during the day, it gets colder in the evening though, so bring a jacket with you. I love traveling in Italy in April. It’s not crowded, and it’s the perfect time to enjoy outdoor trips:)

  9. What really interested me about this at first was the “one-day” keyword. Finding time for a vacation is so hard to do, it is always relieving to me to find things that can be seen in a short amount of time without feeling rushed.

I have been wanting to visit Italy for quite some time now and actually just got my passport to start planning a trip!

I’m curious what places outside of the US have you been?

  10. Hi ! I am french, but I’ve never been to Italy. I’ve been traveling around the world in different countries, but didn’t visit the closest ones ! Lots of my friends love to spend their vacation in Italy as the weather is nice, the cities are charming and lots of places have a nice historical background. I will be moving to Thailand soon, working there, but will definitely come back to Europe and visit Italy. Actually, I will probably spend a few days next year with one of my Thai friends, and Tuscany could be one of our stops during our European road trip. What would be the negative point of the experience apart of the group size ? How long do you stay at each spot?

    Reply
    • Wow, France is near Italy:) You should definitely go there for a visit.

It depends on how you deal with it. For some people, a large group can be annoying and for others, fun. It really all depends on the person itself. You have free time to stroll around on your own, and you meet again to continue the excursion.

  11. Tusscany of Italy is really a very nice and adventurous place to be and I’ll be so delighted to be there, a twelve hours trip is so good, it’ll actually not infringe much in the time to do other things like work and other activities. Sightseeing is a very lovely thing to do as it offers fun. The only question I have is that, Is it possible to have the tour extended if you wish to take some more time to explore the place??

    Reply
    • Hi there,

Indeed, Tuscany is a great place to be:).

It is not possible to extend the tour, but you can definitely continue on your own after you finished your excursion. But I think after 12 hours trip, you will want to rest. Wouldn’t you?

  12. I am surprised that it can take only one day to explore the beauties of Italy. The provision of a luxury coach already tells a lot about the tour.  Thank you for highlighting the histories of the places to visit. The stroll at the vineyards sounds like something I would really want to experience.Glad that this tour can accommodate up to 15 people. I find large crowds more fun for these activities. Thank you for the great recommendation of the Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing tour.

    • Hi Carol,

Well, you’ll definitely need more than one day to visit Italy, but you can expect to cover a lot of spots on this tour.

A large group could be an advantage for some or a disadvantage for others. I am glad you like large crowds, you’ll certainly have fun!

Thank you for the comment, and I wish you a lovely day!

  13. I found this to be a beautiful website. I would not have thought that one could see Tuscany in just 1 day. A sightseeing tour that includes this much activity would be an exciting venture. I would love the lunch at the vineyard and the fact that this is a 12 hour tour makes it even more appealing. Seeing the LP of Pisa is the photo opportunity of a lifetime, but I believe the 14 towers would be just as great to see. The old architecture has to be amazing. Being that the tour is in groups no larger than 15, I am just curious as to whether they could handle a cruise ship full of people.

The graphics are amazing. The information is great. I like the advice you give as well.

    • Hi there,

Thank you for the compliment, I am glad you enjoy navigating through my website:)

Indeed, it would be challenging to visit Tuscany in one day, but 12 hours is enough to see a big part of Tuscany.

I am sure they can handle a cruise ship, but they would split people into several separate groups and different schedules too.

Let me know if you need more info. I’ll be more than happy to assist.

Thank you for the comment, and I wish you a nice day!
