  1. One of my favorite parts of travel is culinary tourism. Culinary tourism makes places into tourist attractions for me that might not otherwise be. When in a new location, I love to try the local flavor.

Mediterranean cuisine sounds like one of the friendliest to vegetarians. That having been said, I am curious to try octopus. I have had squid before, I believe.

Thanks for reminding us that the best restaurants have not only the best food — but also the best atmosphere.

  2. I always enjoy food especially while the music keeps playin’ and the ambiance is very congenial. Portuguese authentic cuisine should be in every foodie’s bucket lists. They use good but simple ingredients which is similar to Spanish cuisine but with unique flavors and distinctive taste. Pork is more popular in Portuguese cooking than cow’s meat because hog raising is more suitable in its land terrain. But seafood is more predominantly used in their cuisine because of its nearly 500 miles of oceanic coast.
