Le Reve Overview
The Le Reve Catamaran welcomes you to the real art of vacationing, having been designed and created by the owner of the luxurious Essence line of yachts. The yacht comes with three air-conditioned, spacious guest cabins fitted with quality, high-end furniture and finishes to offer unprecedented comfort levels.
Guests can decide to enjoy their meals outside under a fresh breeze or inside. You can choose to spend time below and on the water or simply lounge on the expansive sun deck with a cocktail. The yacht’s gull-wing deck is designed to allow a high level of comfort as well as a smooth sailing experience under any circumstance.
The Le Reve yacht comes with an impressive range of water sports toys including skis, wakeboards, snorkeling gear, paddle boards, kayaks, and dive gear.
All the outstanding comfort quality on board doesn’t compromise the sailing performance for one bit. The yacht features two 110-horsepower Volvo engines plus over 1500 square feet of the mainsail –which allows the yacht to achieve and sustain top speeds in varying conditions.
If you’re out to have a memorable sailing vacation, the Le Reve is up to the task –with its modern, beautiful design, stylish interior features, and high-level comfort, you can be sure it’s going to be fun
Accommodations
This yacht comes with three, air-conditioned, spacious cabins fitted with high-quality fittings, materials, and fixtures, which offer a commendable comfort level. You can choose to have your meals outside or inside the yacht and you have access to the massive lounge sun deck.
Overall, Le Reve can accommodate six guests in the three well-designed cabins. The master cabin has a queen bed, settee, desk/vanity, en-suite facilities, and ample hanging space with double sinks. The other two cabins have queen-sized beds each featuring en-suite facilities and a desk/vanity.
The main salon has a lounge featuring two set-in tables representing coffee tables and an L-shaped lounge. The lounge extends across the back of the table to create an al fresco dining experience. Next to the trampolines is the bow that forms sunbeds. If you want to stretch out and enjoy the views, the flybridge will offer an excellent vantage point.
Interior
The interior space of the Le Reve is centered around the salon with a segregated dining space and lounge area for entertainment. The social and working areas are also separated which means the crew and the guests don’t interfere with each other when going about their business.
The lounge has 2 L-shaped plush leather sofas, along with set-in coffee tables as well as an entertainment hub. The dining space has a comfortable seating arrangement for the six guests with a rectangular table in the center. It has a centrally located gallery as well.
There is another seating arrangement on the outside that seamlessly flows into the interior seating space, thanks to the fully sliding doors. It has three guest cabins, each accommodating two guests. The interior finish is high gloss cherry, with large windows that offer panoramic views as you sail.
The interior is sufficiently infused with luminous natural light, thanks to the tall windows and fully-opening sliding doors which offer a nearly 360-degree view of the outdoor scenery. Thankfully, while the Le Reve yacht is a relatively small vessel, it still offers ample interior space courtesy of the adaptive L-shaped sofas and a clever selection of minimalistic interior fixtures and furniture.
Exterior
This luxurious yacht is quite an upgrade from the older model with beautiful finishes and vertical salon windows that offer breathtaking views. It kind of gives you the feeling that you’re outside.
A quick glance from the outside reveals a unique work. The 62 feat catamaran features a 33 feet beam 5 feet draft, and it’s powered by twin 110-horsepower Volvo engines.
The outside has an al fresco dining arrangement and an extensive sundeck which is great for lounging and cocktails. There is a shade for when you need to escape from the sun.
Entertainment
Le Reve is huge on entertainment –the large flybridge has sun mattresses, an electric grill, a lounge area, an incredible sound system, and a bar. You will find a stereo system, board games, a DVD player, onboard WI-Fi, and plenty of books to keep you busy.
There is also an impressive range of water sports and toys to keep you busy and entertained. This includes rafts, water boards, water skis (for both kids and adults), snorkel gear, Floating Mats, Towable Tubes, stand-up paddleboards, fishing gear, kayaks, and dive equipment.
There’re transom steps at the rare end to offer easy access to the collection of toys and the sea.
Performance
The Le Reve, as you can see, offers a commendable level of comfortable, but this is nicely married with performance and functionality.
As earlier mentioned, the boat is equipped with two Volvo engines rated at 110 horsepower. The yacht can easily clock maxim speeds and sustain that in all sailing conditions.
There is also a 20KW backup generator ready to save the moment when the power goes down. The Canadian crew of two will also make every effort possible to ensure that your sailing vacation is memorable.
Where does Le Reve Sail
Le Reve Cat is available for charter in the Caribbean Island chain, with a wide variety of locations from the Grenadines to the British Virgin Islands. The Virgin Islands are well suited for families that have young children as well as those who are new to vacation sailing.
The boat sails on the Caribbean Leewards and the Virgin islands both in summer and winter. Their preferred pick-up point is Tortola, but you can also be picked up at St. Thomas if that’s more convenient for you.
About the Crew
The yacht also comes with a crew of two, which are the captain and the chef. The captain, Mario, has years of experience cruising in the sea, and he holds an RYA Yacht Masters, with certificates in Marin safety. His 15 years of sailing experience have helped him to develop a strong sense of pilotage and navigation.
Karine, the chef, is quite an energetic woman who has served in the restaurant and bar business for more than 15 years in Quebec. She believes that every guest deserves nothing less than the best. She is most appreciated by her clients for her service skill, professionalism, and passion for her job.
Everything on the Le Reve Catamaran is flexible and can be customized. Karin and Mario will take care of navigation, mooring, docking, drinks, and meals while on the boat.
If you’re the curious type, they will be willing to teach you as much as possible. And if you just want to relax on the trampoline, sipping your cocktail while reading your book –that’s fine too.
Why Charter Le Reve
The Le Reve is suitable for groups of people or a family of six that wishes to enjoy a sailing vacation in the Caribbean.
While everyone will have fun and enjoy each moment, it seems like kids and enthusiastic young adults will have even more fun –thanks to a wide range of water sports and toys on offer.
The ample interior space, comfy lounging area, and spacious cabins, as well as the friendly, helpful crew, come as icing on the cake.
Conclusion
If you’re planning to head on to a vacation sailing experience either in summer or winter, the Le Reve is one of those budget options that won’t compromise your comfort. If you ask me, this is a clever combination of functionality, comfort, quality, and style to create a dream yacht for sailing enthusiasts.

Hello and thanks for the great review. I love the sea and my dream is to earn enough to go in a long cruise when I can. This luxury yacht seems to have everything. But despite all the perks this vessel has, in your opinion do you have any other comparable vessels or cruises that can rival this one? Thanks.
Hi Kenny,
You are very welcome!
Yes, Le Reve has some competitors:) For example, the Aletheia and the Nova, both can rival the Le Reve.
Let me know if you need more info, I’ll be glad to assist you!
Thank you for the comment and wish you a lovely day!
Beautiful boat Daniella! I would love to charter the Le Reve for a voyage thru the Caribbean. What way to enjoy a vacation sailing on the ocean! My body gravitates to the water, and I am very passionate about it. I clicked on the link and the price for a week is pretty staggering (for a single mom like me). So I am curious, as I now want to charter a catamaran, if there are any choices that fall in a lower price range?
Hi Matt,
Indeed, it is! I don’t think there is a better way to enjoy vacations:) Yes, of course, there are other catamarans at lower prices that also offer comfort and that could suit your budget. Here are some great ones for you.
I hope it helped! Please let me know if you need more info. I am always happy to assist.

Great article, Daniella,
A sail vacation is an unforgettable experience for families and friends . And Le Reve Yacht provides one especially with the comfortable designs and amenities provided .
The exceptional and breathtaking views you capture on the seas are incomparable.

Hey Daniela ! Nice article on this catamaran. It looks truly wonderful but I looked at the price out of curiosity. Wow, this is way out of my league. I would be richer, I’d definitely be interested in booking “Le Rêve” for – at least! – 1 week though. The interior is very spacious from what I see in the pictures.
Anyway, I’ve always wanted to go in the Caribbeans, would you have any recommendations for a cheaper sailing experience? Cheers!
Hi Ben,
Agree, this cat is stunning and powerful! Yes, of course, there are cheaper options available to sail in the Caribbean for a week time. Please click and you’ll be redirected to more affordable catamarans. I hope you’ll find your boat:)

Le Reve Catamaran is an amazing beast to say the least. I just fall in love with the interior setting, from the dining and lounge, the beds to rest, entertainment and all that, surely I can’t wait to enjoy my next summer holiday with my family, that will be the most memorable sail ever.
The last time we had a vacation sailing, we used a Flybridge Sportfish, we spend a day in the Mozambiquen Indian Ocean, it was great.
Thank you so much for a great article
Hi there,
Yes, the Le Reve is a beautiful catamaran and it’s extremely comfortable for sailing with family. The Flybridge Sportfish is a great boat for fishing trips. The Le Reve also provide fishing gear so you can have fun:) I am sure you’ll love this boat!
Thank you for the comment and wish you a nice day!
Sailing through the Caribbean in a luxurious yacht such as the Le Reve Catamaran, sounds like a “dream vacation come true” for me. This is something I’ve never experienced and so I really wished I’ll be able to tick this off my bucket list in the near future. But while preparing, I would like to know as much as I can.
I know that this kind of vacation will cost a considerable amount of money. Yeah, $34K for a week, wow! But I wonder if they ever offer special discount prices. You also said that we can have a great sailing experience during the winter or summer, but which season do you think would be more fun in terms of the activities we can do?
Hi Alice,
There are great good deals sometimes. Apart from this, If you book the boat months in advance, you can look forward to getting a good discount as much as 10 to 20 percent.
Since Le Reve sail to the Caribbean, I would say both, winter and summer. The Caribbean has excellent weather all year round; you can indulge in all sorts of activities as well in the winter and the summer.
Please, don’t hesitate to contact me with any question. I’ll be more than happy to help.
Thank you for the comment and wish you a wonderful day.
Simply aaaaaamaaazing. I totally wish I had enough money this holiday to actually enjoy it on a cruise like the Le Reve Catamaran! It’s good that the captain has 15 years of experience on the sea and knows how to properly react in every situation imaginable. I absolutely love the luxurious feel of this yacht and everything it has to offer. One question though; is this the best bang for your buck? Thanks for the help
Hi Brandon,
I wish you to sail soon with Le Reve because it is truly a fantastic yacht! To answer your question, yes, this catamaran worth every single buck you spend on it:)

Hi Daniella. I came across your website when searching for ideas to celebrate my upcoming wedding anniversary.
You mention that The Le Reve comes with dive gear. It has been many years since my husband and I first learned to scuba dive and a refresher course is definitely advisable.. Do you know if the crew are able to offer diving instructions to ensure a safe diving opportunity?
I think such a trip would be a wonderful opportunity. Thank you for your fabulous review.
Hi Kerry,
This is an excellent way to celebrate a wedding anniversary:)
Yes, you can be reassured, the instructors on board are qualified and very nice!

I stumbled upon your post and I am immediately captivated by the beauty of Le Reve Catamaran. The interior is simple yet elegant. The entertainment, performances, water sport facilities… I am totally sold! Too bad the price is kind of too steep for me, but I will surely keep this option in mind!
Hi Grace,
There is no rush, whenever you are ready:)
Thank you for the comment and wish you a great day!
Daniella, The boat looks so luxurious and the setting amazing. I think if I went on this cruise I would not want to to leave! What is usually the best time of year to book a cruise on a Le Reve Catamaran? Is there a specific itinerary that they provide?
Thank you
Christene
Hi Christene,
Me either:)
Winter is the peak season in the Caribbean, so prices are higher. If you want to get better deals, then summer would be the best time. In term of activities, you’ll be spoiled all year long! Yes, the company usually provide you with a customized sailing itinerary that suits your taste and needs.
I hope it helped!

Great post and good info.
I have seen some beautiful boats on your website and here I found another great catamaran.
I love the interior, it looks so cozy but yet with a lot of space.
We have made quite a lot of money lately, so I think it’s time to charter a boat for vacations.
I will show this to my friend and he will have a hard time to choose!
Thanks a lot.
Hi Emmanuel,
I am glad for you!

Hi Daniella
I just wanted to let you know, that based on your review and others we read, we booked Le Reve. We booked the trip – our first overseas vacation after COVID and we were so excited. However, in a matter of days of booking and paying the full amount our 11 year old was diagnosed with Leukemia. We contacted the brokers & the captain and the chef ASAP and asked if either they could refund part of the amount or if we can change the date of our trip to another year. They refused and then stopped picking up the phone to us.
They said it was our fault for not taking out insurance – even though we barely had time to finalize that before the diagnosis and they would be keeping the full amount.
It has been an awful time, and I cannot believe that these owners are so heartless. I just want to warn anyone reading about Le Reve, so they know who they are dealing with.
Hi, Janvi,
I am so sorry for your 11 years old. I really hope he is fine today or is getting better. That’s what matters most.
I am also sorry you didn’t have a good experience with the charter company you’ve dealt with. But unfortunately, I have no control over yacht charter companies. So even if I want to help, I wouldn’t be able to do so.
I hope you’ll have a better experience in the future with other yacht charter companies.
Thank you for your comment, and I hope your son gets well soon.
